I wrote my first book with the help of my patient, t.b. Carpenter, also a pseudonym, in 1991. T.B. was a jounrnalist, and had worked as a news reporter in San Francisco before we met. He retyped my manuscript on his typewriter and would meet me weekly to review it. It smelled strongly of cigarettes.
My first book was anti-insurance company, so I thought a pen name might be appropriate. My most recent book might be considered anti-FDA, so the pen name is even more appropriate.
I believe doctors are really highly paid technicians. Someone once said that doctors are like car mechanics. An average doctor diagnosis a disease only after it is full bloom. He catches heart disease after a first heart attack. A really good doctor catches the disease early, after its first symptoms. After the chest pain a really good doctor notices early heart disease. A very good doctor catches the problem early, before the engine blows or the heart attack occurs, and fixes it. A great doctor helps you completely avoid the problem by using proper preventive measures. He changes your diet, lowers your triglyceride to HDL ratio, drops your blood pressure, and helps you lose weight. You avoid the heart attack altogether.
I seek to write books that tell how to avoid dying prematurely from any cause. My latest book on Repurposed Drugs and Cancer/COVID expands the theme to help you and your physician thinking outside the box by using repurposed drug cocktails to side-step cancer and coronavirus.
As always, I credit Jane McLelland and Ben Williams for blazing the trail on using repurposed drugs to save their own lives from terminal cancer. They both inspired the writing of my current book, Surviving Cancer, COVID-19, & Disease: The Repurposed Drug Revolution. I truly hope you will find it the most helpful book you will ever read.
